stationery stans: it seems @Paper_Source placed unusually large orders with a bunch of small stationers ( @saplingpress, Power and Light Press, @ramonaandruth, @Benchpressed_ and so many more) just before declaring bankruptcy and has left them out to dry

Was not expecting to find myself outraged tonight at @Paper_Source, but they evidently placed massive orders from small businesses, then declared bankruptcy after receiving the goods. What kind of evil corp screws over local letterpress card makers?!

President Biden’s use of an old stereotype is hurtful to modern Europeans, Asians & Americans who inherit about 2% of their genes from Neanderthal ancestors.

He should apologize for his insensitive comments and seek training on unconscious bias.

The day after the Transportation Dept's watchdog office referred Elaine Chao to DOJ for potential prosecution, her husband, then-Senate Majority @LeaderMcConnell pushed to confirm a new head for that watchdog office

The timing here is extraordinary. The acting inspector general asks the Justice Department to consider prosecuting Elaine Chao, and the next day her husband, Mitch McConnell, uses his official position to push for replacing the acting inspector general.

Dallas PD arrested Officer Bryan Riser and charged him with two counts of capital murder for two unrelated murders in 2017.

Chief Garcia said Riser had been a “person of interest” in the murders since 2019, but he wasn’t placed on admin leave ‘til this am when he was arrested.

My exchange w/ Dallas PD Chief Garcia....

Me: “How long has he been on administrative leave?”

Chief: “Since he was taken into custody this morning.”

Me: “So he has been out patrolling the community while he had been under investigation for murder?”

Chief: “Yes he was.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Capitol Police ask that National Guard remain at Capitol for 2 more months, reflecting continued security concerns.

This is a bad lede. We need to make clear WHO is responsible for the security threats. This isn’t a generalized terror threat; this is the former President’s seditionist backers trying to interrupt or overthrow the government.

Every single American should be OUTRAGED by this:

Democrats just voted to ban voter ID nationwide and force every state to permanently expand mail-in voting.

A politician who told voters he was "David Duke without the baggage" is OUTRAGED by a new Voting Rights Act?

Wow, that's a shocker.
