Instead of covering another Trump speech, how about covering the millions of Americans who would benefit from increasing the minimum wage.
Replying to @kurtgraser: Absolutely. And start interviewing these Americans instead of Trump supporters bitter about election results.
Donald Trump, born into obscene wealth, bailed out repeatedly, allowed to fail upwards forever, handed the US presidency, and for four years given the opportunity to break any law he cared to, without consequence, never shuts the fuck up about how unfairly he's been treated
The Republican Party is not the party of the country clubs, it’s the party of hardworking, blue-collar men and women.
.@tedcruz, U own a multi-million-dollar house jn Houston.
You regularly stay at the Ritz-Carlton Resort & Club.
Your wife is a high-level executive at Goldman-Sachs.
Donald Trump lives in Mar-a-Lago, a country club with a $200k membership fee.
You are such a demagogic fraud.
What could @tedcruz do if he were here in Texas? I’m hard-pressed to say. If he’s in Cancun, that means he’s not using up valuable resources of energy, food and water that can now be used by someone else. This is probably the best thing he could do for the state right now
“It’s actually a good thing Ted Cruz wasn’t in Texas because he’s a useless piece of shit who only takes up resources” is a hilarious defense
I think @SenTedCruz is desperately trying to rebrand from the “inspired a deadly insurrection” motherfucker to the “left my constituents to freeze to death so I could go to Cancun” motherfucker, but luckily he can be both. He’s just that big a motherfucker.
Texas Gov. Abbott blames solar and wind for the blackouts in his state and says "this shows how the Green New Deal would be a deadly deal for the United States of America"
You’re the governor of a state where millions don’t have power, where people are literally dying of exposure, and you go on Fox news to talk about... the Green New Deal? You are the governor. Your party has run Texas for 20 years. Accept responsibility & help us get out of this.
If the minimum wage had grown at the rate of productivity since 1960, it would be $23.
Instead, it’s $7.25.
That's $15.75 per hour lost by low income workers the past 60 years. Imagine the nation we could have... #RaiseTheWage
Replying to @SGSFOX: And the wealthiest people would still be the wealthiest people.
