Listeners told us they want to chime in to conversations on @TwitterSpaces without having to grab the mic and one of the ways to do this was with more emojis
We are adding 😂 to Spaces soon and wondering what other interactions should we be exploring?
What’s a good conversation without some laughs? 👇🏽
Replying to @rmbrgn: Some of you mentioned bugs with the sound while listening into a Space. We're working on it 💪

transparent design––I been working on a @TwitterSpaces
commenting feature so hosts can have richer dialogue without the yuckiness that can come from a live chat. was inspired by the tweet behavior @LiamODellUK used in his space. this is obvi WIP but what yall think?
let's try this again. we're curious to hear your feedback! early design artifacts that we might test in the beta:
we're always interested in hearing your feedback! early design artifacts that we might test in the beta:
today we’ve opened up to another small group of folks to try out Spaces & we’re excited to hear their feedback (literally!)
if you don’t have the feature yet, don’t worry! we’re still learning and will continue to add more of you over time
Replying to @Mr_DannySingh: We weren't kidding when we said @TwitterSpaces is serious about listening and learning

Good news: We released the patch on the App Store (v 8.48) that fixes the audio bug for listeners. We’re getting back into the groove of things so look out for more improvements in the coming weeks
Hi everyone, thank you for the very special energy you’ve shared with us these past six days.
We‘re going into a quiet period to reflect & rest. We’ll be back early in the new year to reconnect with you. See you then, maya danny rémy alex
To everyone who has DM’d, tweeted: we appreciate you.
Thank you for offering to help us learn & grow. We will be slowly growing the group in the coming weeks — if you are interested in joining our feedback group, please sign up here:

@HashtagHeyAlexa @akkhosh @TwitterSpaces @Mr_DannySingh @mayagpatterson @rmbrgn The live transcription is actually working really well right now, at least when I was using it. Audio still hitting some speed bumps though but all and all, pretty amped for it. 😁
We’re listening and already learning so much. Working on some of these hiccups as we "speak" 😉
we can’t wait to learn together with all of you! talk soon ✨🚀
other features we’re testing:
- reactions similar to hand gestures
- a very early version of live transcriptions
- reporting & blocking
- sharing Tweets in spaces
we are giving Spaces to a very small feedback group. people in the group will be able to create Spaces for their followers and other people on twitter to join. they’ll have full control over who can/cannot speak in their space.
we'll be mainly using DMs @TwitterSpaces to communicate with those in the feedback group. but we might share some updates and insights too. which reminds us, we should introduce ourselves...
the people tweeting are @Mr_DannySingh (Research), @mayagpatterson (Design), @rmbrgn (Eng), @akkhosh (Product)
we're only representatives of a MUCH larger team (we’re following some of them) who live & breathe this with us every day
aye we’re live! what up y’all, we're the team behind Spaces––a small experiment focused on the intimacy of the human voice🧵
