Denied their right 2 vote in 1965, 105 Black teachers from Selma, AL risked their lives by peacefully marching 2 the courthouse 4 their right to vote. They helped pass the Voting Rights Act, yet kids have never heard of these heroes of democracy--until now.
Focusing on seventeen 2020 nonfiction picture books too good to miss before shifting to 2021. I hope you'll find some new-to-you titles in this post. Readers really do enjoy facts. (Everyone will learn something.)
